| December 9, 2021 1:00 AM

PRIEST RIVER — A west county couple is seeking a conditional use permit that would allow them to subdivide a 5.5-acre parcel in order to create a 29-home planned unit development.

A public hearing on the conditional use permit request will be held Monday, Dec. 13, at the Priest River City Council meeting.

The applicants David and Jill Spiker, together with John and Tamara Scarcello, are requesting a conditional use permit to allow them to subdivide the parcel. In addition to the 29 homes, the couple also plans a community building and 17 mini-storage units for the development occupants.

The property is generally located south of the end of W. Beardmore Avenue near Sherman Lane in Priest River.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Priest River Event Center, 5399 U.S. 2.
