BONNERS FERRY — Clark Fork girls basketball lost its sixth straight game on Thursday night, falling 44-22 to the Bonners Ferry JV team.

The Badgers outscored the Lady Cats 17-4 in the third quarter to run away with the win. Clark Fork scored just two points in the opening quarter.

This was the Lady Cats' first game since Jan. 12. Tuesday's home game with Genesis Prep was postponed because the Jaguars didn't have enough players.

"We just came out sluggish," head coach Jordan Adams said. "We played Bonners Ferry JV, but they obviously have a really good program here and have for a long time."

Paige Valliere and Kellie Mace each had five points. Lily Reuter and Breezy Fournier both tallied four points.

"We're still at that learning curve," Adams said. "We have really, really good games and then tonight it was just a total funk all the way around and once again, we don't have the depth or the experience, and that hurts you even worse."

The Lady Cats (2-9) host the Bonners Ferry JV team at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
