DYW Sandpoint announce raffle

The Distinguished Young Women of Sandpoint program for the Class of 2022 is underway.

There are five amazing young ladies participating this year from Sandpoint High School: Adriana Foxx, Madison Gunter, Lucinda Meshberg, Ali Terry, and Amanda Steiner. The program's theme is "Unstoppable" and will be held March 13, 2021, at the Sandpoint Middle School.

A raffle, with five amazing prizes, is being help to help support the young women.They include a seven-night stay on Kauai, Hawaii, (anonymous donor); and packages with items from Pend Oreille Charters, Trinity at City Beach, Lake Pend Oreille Cruises, Spuds Waterfront Grill, The Idaho Club and The Clubhouse Restaurant, Lake Topography Maps and Pack River Store.

The first prize package is a seven-night stay at The Point at Poipu from Aug. 19-26. The second prize package is a half-day fishing charge for two with Pend Oreille Charters and a $100 gift certificate to dine at Trinity at City Beach. The third prize package is a Lake Pend Oreille history cruise for four and lunch for four at Spud's Waterfront Grill. The fourth prize package is an 18-hole round of golf at The Idaho Club, cart and practice range, for four and a $100 Idaho Club Restaurant gift certificate. The fifth prize package is a Lake Pend Oreille topography map from Lake Topography Maps and a $35 gift certificate from the Pack River Store.

Tickets are $5. All proceeds go directly into the scholarships awarded the night of the program.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting DYW participants at Super 1 in Sandpoint on Feb. 5, 2-6 p.m., and Feb. 19, 2-6 p.m.; or by contacting a participant or committee member at sandpoint@distinguishedyw.org.
