Here comes the sun?
Music Conservatory of Sandpoint singers get a little help staying dry as they sing, "Here Comes the Sun" in an attempt to drive the clouds and rain away after a storm interrupted a celebration held to welcome the city's bell home. The bell once was housed in a cupola atop the old Sandpoint City Hall (now the music conservatory) before the structure was taken down and the bell sold.

The 112-year-old bell's homecoming was celebrated Saturday with a concert by Music Conservatory of Sandpoint students and staff, Bonner County History Museum officials and volunteers, and the community.
Despite cloudy skies and the occasional downpour, the mood was joyous as what was once lost to time was now home. Well at least in its temporary home at the museum until the cupola on the top of what is now the music conservatory is rebuilt and the bell once again stands guard over the community.
