| March 3, 2021 1:00 AM

It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Marie Davis, announce her passing at the age of 78, on February 23, 2021, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

She was born on October 26, 1942, in Berkeley, California, and graduated from Santa Cruz High School. She married the love of her life, Harold "Squeeky" Davis, on November 19, 1961, and they were blessed with 56 years of marriage before Harold's passing in March of 2018. They were also blessed with three children: Melody (Mike) DeMers, of Oldtown, Idaho, Casey (Matt) Linscott, of Sagle, Idaho, and Tom (Lori) Davis, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Tyler DeMers, Tessa DeMers, Janae (Derrick) Peterson, Zac Linscott, and Cade White, and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Paisley Peterson. Also, by her sisters, Patricia (Dana) Vermillion, Terry (Bill) Nelson, Susan (Dan) Petit, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was very creative and loved crafting, and since she also loved working right alongside her husband, Harold (“Squeeky",) who is fondly remembered for owning and operating "Squeeky's Welding" Mini-Storage and U-Haul, in Kootenai, Idaho, she created and operated Mrs. Squeeky's Mouse House, which adjoined the welding shop, where she sold many of her creations.  After they sold the business in 1999, they traveled all over with the Rainbow Chasers RV Club and made so many new friends in the club and at every destination.

After her husband passed away in 2018, she moved to Rathdrum, Idaho, and loved her new neighborhood and new friends.  She will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold "Squeeky" Davis, and her parents, Tom and Marilyn Turner.
