BLANCHARD — The Panhandle Health District is administering free health and fitness screenings for area residents at the Blanchard Community Center on Wednesday, March 17, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Health professionals will screen participants for several risk indicators, including blood sugar, lipids (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and TG), blood pressure, and risk of Type 2 diabetes. Health screening results will be analyzed while participants wait, and each person will leave with a personalized risk assessment and resources to improve health and fitness.

Screenings are by appointment only. Please call 208-415-5259 to schedule a screening time.
