| March 10, 2021 1:00 AM

The WSU Master Gardeners are offering a Zoom class called “Small Fruits & Berries”, on Thursday, March 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The class will be presented by a Master Gardener panel.

Topics that will be covered in the class include purchasing, planting, maintaining, harvesting and use of strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, blueberries, huckleberries, grapes, and other native and more uncommon fruits and berries. The class fee is $5, ($3 for MGs), and can be paid by check or money order.

Anyone with a computer or smart phone and Internet access will be able to attend this virtual Zoom class by calling or emailing program coordinator, Beverly Sarles, to register. Those who are registered will receive an email, a day before the class, with the Zoom link and directions on how to access the presentation. The Zoom class will be interactive so participants will be able to make comments and ask questions. Even if participants do not have a camera and microphone on their computers, they can view the class and ask questions by typing them into a chat box. In order to register for the class, so you can receive the Zoom link and learn where to send the class fee, please contact Beverly Sarles, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at 509-447-2401 or email anytime at: beverly.sarles@wsu.edu.
