"Healing From Hate" takes a deep dive into the minds of men who gravitate toward white-supremacist hate groups. Focusing on the bold work of the group Life After Hate – an organization founded by former Skinheads and neo-Nazis now engaged in deradicalizing violent extremists on the frontlines – the film makes the case that the men who join these groups are motivated less by ideology than by a desperate need to prove their manhood.

"Healing From Hate" is at once a stunning document of racism and white-male grievance in America, and a powerful portrait of a group of people working together to de-radicalize hate groups and heal communities torn apart by white male insecurity, resentment, and rage.
