SANDPOINT — At-large bids for the 4A state track and field championships were announced on Sunday, and two more Bulldogs earned trips to state.

Riley Christman and Erika Edmundson secured at-large bids based on their marks in the pole vault at the 4A Region 1 championships. That means Sandpoint will be sending seven pole vaulters to state.

With Christman and Edmundson grabbing spots, a total of 25 Bulldogs will be on the bus to state.

Luke McCorkle also earned an at-large bid to state in the 110 hurdles. He was already headed to state with the 4x200 relay team.

The 4A state championships will be held Friday and Saturday at Eagle High School. A full preview of the meet will be printed in the paper later this week.
