Priest River boys finish sixth at state

RATHDRUM — The Priest River boys golf team secured sixth at the 3A state tournament on Tuesday at the Twin Lakes Village Golf Club.
The Spartans were just six strokes away from earning a trophy at state. Fourth-place Buhl finished with a team score of 755, while Priest River had a 760.
On the second day, Luke Butler shot a 92, Bowen Fegert grabbed a 97, Kameron Salesky posted a 98, Jace Yount had a 102 and Hayden Stockton finished with a 110.
"I'm proud of the boys and look forward to making our mark in Idaho golf next year," head coach Dan Buttrey said.
