Yappy Hour begins this Thursday

Everyone’s favorite happy hour event is back for the summer. Join Better Together Animal Alliance, local businesses, and performers for good brews, dogs, and a lot of fun.

Yappy Hour is hosted the last Thursday of each month, May-September from 4-7 p.m. at the Ponderay PetSafe dog park. The public is invited to come enjoy drinks and live entertainment, while supporting dogs and cats in need.

“Yappy Hour is one of our favorite seasonal events and we’re excited to bring it back this year,” Joel Akins, BTAA volunteer and events coordinator, said. “It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with fellow animal lovers and provide opportunities for the public to learn about what we do to support animals in our community.”

The first Yappy Hour event is Thursday, May 27 featuring beer from Laughing Dog Brewing, wine from Spud’s restaurant, and live music by Kerry Leigh.
