Welcome, get involved and support the Panida

Welcome. Times are changing in Sandpoint. There has been so much conversation lately about so many new people moving to Sandpoint. I want to say welcome and and invite you to "get involved."

So many of us came from other places and were lucky enough to find Sandpoint. I myself have been here 36 years from Philadelphia. The first thing we did was get involved. We had the energy and time, and it was our way of learning about the community and making new friends. There are so many wonderful organizations to chose from covering all kinds of interests. For us it was the Environmental League and the arts, specifically the Panida Theater.

At this time I would like to encourage you to get involved in the Panida. The theater has been a focal point in our community. It is community owned and a nonprofit tax deductible organization bringing many years of wonderful theater, opera, movies, fundraisers and local entertainment to all.

Right now, the Panida is going through some hard times and needs our help. We need your energy, financial support and involvement. Please check us out, the theater is historically beautiful and an intricate part of this community. We cannot sit back and watch it leave us. Get involved, it will help you and the community. Thank you and once again welcome.
