Christmas tree lighting ceremony set for Friday

SANDPOINT — The community is invited to welcome St. Nick — and help kick off the holiday season at Friday’s community Christmas tree lighting.
The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at Jeff Jones Town Square when local officials flip the switch and Sandpoint’s Christmas tree comes to life. Area youngsters and families are invited to greet Santa as he arrives by fire truck at 6 p.m.
There will be cider, cookies and hot chocolate provided by Ting.
