Janet Krill

| September 1, 2021 1:00 AM

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Krill. Born in Torrence, California on June 3, 1952, she lost her battle with cancer in Texas on Aug. 26, 2021.

As a young woman, Janet traveled to India and Europe, among other destinations. She always described herself as a “gypsy.” Janet lost her husband Bryan in a tragic airplane crash, but in their life together, they shared many adventures and travels. They rode Harleys and dune buggies together, they flew to far-flung destinations with Bryan piloting their plane, and enjoyed their Lake Pend Oreille home with many friends. They lived full, rich lives.

After losing Bryan, Janet lived in Lake Havasu for several years, managing their restaurant. Last year, she sold the restaurant and moved to Texas seeking a new adventure. She was in the midst of remodeling her house there when she passed.

Janet is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sue Logsdon, their children and her step-children. She leaves many heartbroken friends across several states. Her ashes will be scattered, with Bryan’s, in the ocean off Southern California.
