Clark Fork volleyball secures second straight sweep

POST FALLS — Clark Fork volleyball cruised to its second straight three-set victory on Tuesday night, taking down Genesis Prep 25-12, 25-14, 25-9.

Head coach Michelle Valliere thought the whole team played well.

"It was a pretty good match," she said. "Genesis Prep was quite a bit better than they were last year, so they put a lot of balls back over for us and we were able to run some plays and do some stuff we've been working on in practice."

Junior setter Paige Valliere racked up 10 aces, 10 assists and three kills. Sophomore libero Lilly Reuter had four digs and senior outside hitter Taylor Staley added four blocks and three kills.

"The first game was a little rough, but they pulled it back together," Michelle said.

Clark Fork (2-0) will head to Priest River at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The Lady Cats will be without senior Caiya Yanik.
