Bulldog football will not play Friday

SANDPOINT — It's official: the Sandpoint football team will not play this Friday.

On Tuesday, SHS Athletic Director Kris Knowles announced Friday's game at Colville (Wash.) was canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Colville program. The Bulldogs tried to find a replacement opponent, but were unable to.

Monday's home junior varsity football game against Colville has also been canceled.

Sandpoint has a bye week the week of Oct. 4-8 and Knowles wrote in a text that finding an opponent for that week is "definitely an option."
