Tracy A. Walker Throw

| September 22, 2021 1:00 AM

Tracy was born July 7, 1956, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her parents were Herbert and Joanne Walker.

Tracy graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1974. After graduation, she moved to Nevada and started a career in banking. Upon returning to Sandpoint, she worked at a local bank and then worked at General Telephone. She then moved out of the area and worked in bank for years, then went into law enforcement.

After the birth of her daughter in 2000, she returned home to Sandpoint where she worked for NLI until her cancer journey began.

Tracy put on the armor God gave her and fought her 14-year-long hard battle cancer. She won the battle on Dec. 12, 2020, as heaven got a new angel.

Tracy had a heart for people and a strong love for Jesus. Tracy had a loving and loyal spirit and would go out of her way to help anyone.

Tracy had such a love for children from an early age, babysitting and helping raise her younger cousins.

Her grandchildren were truly the highlights of her life. She loved them so much. Tracy touched the lives of all she met and formed many friendships throughout the States, especially her dear friend Jerri. You didn't have to be related to be part of her family.

Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Herbert; mother, Joanne; brother, Terry Walker; and sister, Gail Walker Bohmann; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Tracy is survived by her brother, Douglas Walker; son, Charles Reynolds; daughter, MacKensi Throw; and daughter, Charity (Clayton) Gillespie; and her grandchildren, Athena, Payten, Lucky, and Abel Reynolds; Kaydence, Divinity and Roland Gillespie; and niece, Lisa and husband, Kenny.

A memorial service will be held for Tracy on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the waterfront near North Idaho College at 11:30 a.m. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Please wear happy colors; no black.
