We have five candidates for District 3 commissioner. Luke Omodt is the best choice to represent District 3. As a 75-year resident, when a two-year resident champions keeping Bonner County rural, I have to cast a suspicious eye. I can’t think that anyone who has lived here less than 40 years has any idea of what a rural Bonner County even looks like. Could it be he suffers from that well-known syndrome of “now that I’ve driven across the bridge, let’s close the gate?”

We have a responsible, proven common-sense senator in Jim Woodward who is running for reelection. His opponent is spending tons of money sending out literature filled with lies and spewing hateful messages. He touts his Christianity but I haven’t seen any display of recognizable Christian characteristics. Woodward is the only responsible choice.

We have three candidates for Secretary of State. Phil MGrane is the Ada County Clerk with actual experience running elections. He has been endorsed by three former Idaho Republican governors: Phil Batt, Dirk Kempthorne and Butch Otter. McGrane’s two opponents have zero experience in running elections and have publicly declared they think the 2020 presidential election should have been overturned. We need McGrane in the SOS office.

Make your voice heard. Vote. Vote Omodt, Woodward and McGrane.
