Constitution put in place to protect everyone

Mr. Cannon,

Straight cis white males have held the majority of power in this nation for a long time, and now you're threatened because the majority of the population is standing up to have their needs and rights recognized. Why does it matter who someone loves? Why does it matter how someone identifies? Why does it matter how someone worships?

The Constitution and its many amendments were put in place to protect all Americans, not just those who think and believe as you do. Why are you so threatened by this? What insecurities are you nurturing that make you so hateful toward other Americans who vote differently than you do?

You call Democrats ignorant in your letter, but the majority of what you are spewing borders on hate speech, dependent on crude, inaccurate stereotypes. Do you need a hug, or would that go against your inaccurate idea of masculinity?
