Clark Fork man dies in Sunday accident

A Clark Fork resident has died as a result of injuries in an accident earlier today near Lucille in the 201500 block of U.S. 95

Idaho State Police said the 65-year-old man was southbound at about 10:11 a.m. on U.S. 95 when his 1988 Ford F150 left the roadway and struck the cliffside before catching fire.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Next of kin has been notified. The man's name was not released by ISP officials.

Traffic on U.S. 95 was alternated for approximately two hours.
