SAGLE — A Sagle man is being held on 15 charges of possessing sexually exploitative material.

Jason Duane Edgar, 45, was arrested by investigators in the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit on Thursday.

According to the release by the AG’s office, Edgar is alleged to have possessed and distributed sexually exploitative material.

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, Moscow Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Idaho State Police and Bonner County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office assisted the ICAC Unit with the arrest, AG officials said on Friday.

First District Magistrate Judge Tera Harden found probable cause for the charges on Friday. Edgar is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on March 2.

Edgar has 40 previous cases in the Idaho courts database for possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, trespassing, theft, and driving infractions. It is unknown if Edgar has charges in other states.
