Program to feature Kalispel history, culture

The history and culture of the Kalispel Tribe will be the focus of a special presentation Thursday, June 2, at the Priest River Library.

The community is invited to join Kalispel Tribe elder Francis Cullooyah at the talk, scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Cullooyah will talk about the history and culture of the Kalispel in the
Pend Oreille River region. The event, which was rescheduled from last fall, will be held in the new library community room

There is no charge to attend the event and no registration is necessary.

In addition, the Priest River Library is closing at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3, for onsite staff training.
