Rights, CDL renewal and common sense

Here’s a copy of my email to ITD’s Civil Rights Division sent May 22, 2022:

I just received notification I cannot renew my CDL unless I prove I'm a U.S. citizen. Say what? There are 17 states, plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, that license illegals, but I have to prove I'm a citizen? This is a microcosm of why I do not trust government bureaucrats, aka civil servants. Common sense is quite uncommon.

So, if I declare I'm not a U.S citizen, do I get a license? I hope you respond, but I'm not holding my breath, as I'm sure you're very busy. Pardon my unconcealed sarcasm.
