The Sandpoint Strikers Soccer Club wrapped up its spring season by notching several gold medals.

10 teams across the Sandpoint Strikers Soccer Club competed in championship games at Kalispell, Montana on June 3-4.

The teams competed in The Three Blind Refs tournament in the Flathead Valley, which is Montana's largest youth tournament of the year.

The Strikers really came out and showed their stuff by notching four championship victories.

The girls teams shined the most while in Montana, however, collecting three out of the four championship victories.

The future of Sandpoint girls soccer seems to remain bright with the youngest groups of the U9 and U10 girls bringing gold medals back to Sandpoint.

The Strikers also notched some gold from their oldest girl group, the U13 girls who won their championship game.

The boys team only notched one championship victory throughout the tournament, which came from the U13 boys team.

Despite just collecting one championship victory, the boys were still very active in reaching the championship game.

The Strikers had four boys teams compete for gold at the Three Blind Refs tournament.

The U9 team reached the championship game but unfortunately fell and received a silver medal.

The U10 and U11 teams for the Strikers served the same fate with second place finishes.

As for the girls, they notched more first place honors than second, but they still came away from the tournament with two teams earning second place finishes.

The U11 team and the U12 team both notched silver medal finishes at the Three Blind Refs tournament in the Flathead Valley.
