Sarah 'Sally' Alice Anderson, 75

Sarah “Sally” Alice Anderson, 75, from Hope, Idaho, died on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

Sally was born on March 2, 1947, in Stockton, Calif., to William and Janet Lloyd. She was the eldest of five children and had four sisters: Janie, Debbie, Cindy, and Melissa “Missy.”

Her family moved to Vashon Island in Washington state when she was a child and she graduated from Vashon Island High School in 1965. Sally was attending college at University of Washington when she met Robert “Bob” Anderson.

Sally and Bob married near Seattle, Wash., in 1973. Sally gave birth to her son, Ian, in 1976 and four years later they welcomed a daughter, Kelley. The family moved to Northern Idaho around 1980.

Sally was known for her kindness and her loving nature. She loved to draw, read, crochet, garage sale,

and enjoy the outdoors.

Sally is survived by three sisters, Janie, Debbie, and Cindy of Seattle; her son, Ian Anderson of Vancouver, Washington; daughter Kelley Gors of Sandpoint, Idaho; five grandchildren, Jade, Damon, Bria, Maddie, and Kinley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sally is preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Janet Lloyd; ex-husband Bob; and a sister, Missy.

She is loved beyond measure and will be missed terribly.
