City announces annual leaf pickup

SANDPOINT — The city has scheduled its annual city-wide leaf pickup with two dates, one for later this month and another in mid-November.

City crews will perform the first all-city pickup throughout the week of Oct. 24-28. The second all-city pickup will be completed Nov. 14-18. 

Residents are asked to place unbagged leaves in the street next to the curb line by Sunday, Oct. 23 for the first week and by Sunday, Nov. 13 for the second week.

Crews will not pick up leaves when the scheduled weeks have ended, and it will be the property owner’s responsibility to remove them from the street. Branches and bagged leaves will not be picked up.
