Steve Johnson needs your vote

| October 20, 2022 1:00 AM

In May, Scott Herndon won the primary election for the Idaho Senate in District 1 by spreading lies and falsehoods about his opponent, incumbent Jim Woodward, an honest, decent man with deep roots in this community who worked tirelessly as our state senator.

Steve Johnson, another candidate with deep roots in this community, stepped up to the plate and decided to run as a write-in candidate in November’s general election.

Steve is a proponent of excellence in public education, preserving our rural nature and public lands and lowering property taxes by raising the Homeowner’s Exemption. He is a man of  honesty and integrity running to support the citizens of this district rejecting the extreme views of somebody like Herndon who wants to destroy public education, prohibit a woman’s right to choose, reject federal funding and who among other things sued the city for not being allowed to bring a gun into the Festival.

By your write-in vote for Steve Johnson, you can help prevent our political process being hijacked by extreme elements who want to destroy the lifestyle and values that we find dear.

Please write in Steve Johnson’s name on the dotted line under “Scott Herndon REP” and don’t forget to fill in the box next to Steve Johnson. Let’s keep the extreme elements out of local politics.
