Carolyn M. Carrier, 81, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held.

Carolyn was born on March 25, 1941 in Chicago, Ill., to Matt and Ella Viere. She grew up and attended schools in Chicago. She had two children from her first marriage.

Carolyn married Richard Carrier on May 30, 1969, in Chicago. She worked for Standard Oil. In 1988 they moved to Sandpoint.

Carolyn is a member of Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Carrier of Sandpoint; son, Daniel (Zhenya) Carrier of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Scott.
