If it looks too good to be true, it probably is

Regarding Advisory Ballot 1:

I read tax ballot, researched it a bit and felt it's important to mention to my fellow citizens to be wary of those who offer you "free stuff".

A tax cut? Nice.

A tax rebate? Sweet.

But at what cost?

More money for "education?"

How could this not be a good thing?

Here's the short answer. Education is a local matter. This ballot gives more power to the state, and worse yet, to the unions that are controlled by Democrats.

Do you want to control our children's education? Or do you want the union bosses and Boise politicians deciding what your children are taught?

I totally support the tax cut and rebate, but those things will be long gone in the years to come. The power given to Little, the unions and the Democrats in Boise will last forever.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
