Sandemonium set to shine at library today

Wait a moment, didn’t I just read about Sandemonium? Yes indeed! That’s how excited I am for this event!
Stop by and visit the library today from noon to 4 p.m. for a whole host of fun and nerdy activities. Stop by my table to paint a mini and bid on an awesome phoenix figurine for your next game, then take that mini straight to a game running at a neighboring table.
Minis aren’t your thing? There will be trading card games going as well as panels with seasoned gamers, writers and dungeon masters. Grab some delicious themed baked goods and replenish your HP before tackling some nerdy trivia. Do you prefer something more digital? Check out a number of video games going in the teen lounge and bring the smack down in some Super Smash Bros.
Of course, if you dress up, you have a chance to win a crisp $50 bill and more by entering the cosplay contest. Halloween is right around the corner and this is a perfect opportunity to get a little extra mileage out of your costume and maybe score some sweet candy money while you’re at it.
This is a great opportunity to meet up with other nerds in the community. My tabletop group always wipes to the attendance boss, and Sandemonium provides more fodder to help us fell that voracious beast. Saturday at noon, I hope I see you there!
