Book sale set for Saturday

SANDPOINT — If you looking for a few good books — or more — to read this weekend, you'll want to stop in at the Friends of the Library book sale on Saturday.

The monthly book sale will be held at the Sandpoint branch library, 1407 Cedar St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sci-fi/fantasy books will be available at half price and featured books at the sale include cookbooks and animal genres including dogs, cats and birds etc.

FOL recently received new donations of books for children and youths to enhance its existing curated collection.

In addition, on behalf of the library, the group is offering their remaining oak chairs.

The sale funds the group's efforts to assist the library district by putting books in the hands of the community at prices that make them available to all.
