12U SLL All-stars shutout Lewiston

The 12U Sandpoint all-stars defeated the 12U Lewiston all-stars 4-0 in the team's first game of District 1 pool play in Coeur d'Alene.

Sandpoint's Brady Yarbrough had an outstanding performance on the mound striking out six batters over five innings. Erik Hansen threw a perfect inning in relief to complete the shutout.

In the batter's box, Noah Langlois recorded the only extra-base hit in the game by knocking a double to center field in the third inning. Gordon Woelfle recorded the only other Sandpoint hit on the very next at-bat.

The 12U Sandpoint all-stars will be back in action Sunday against the 12U Hayden all-stars at the Croffoot Sports Complex in Hayden.
