Just look outside for proof climate change isn’t real

| June 4, 2023 1:00 AM

Even after being told that their belief in “the omnipotence of science” (Eric Hoffer, “The True Believer”) is a logical fallacy known as an appeal to authority, the climate crisis cultists continue appealing to scientific organizations (all of whom are funded by socialist governments) in an attempt to prove the validity of their claims.

This rejection of logic has been referred to as the fallacy of pigheadedness (A.J. Hoover, “Don’t You Believe It”). They don’t believe because they don’t want to believe. They have replaced God with science and they refuse to believe that science could possibly be wrong. For them, science is all-powerful (even though it “doesn’t prove anything,” which is a classic example of cognitive dissonance).

C.S. Lewis, in The Chronicles of Narnia, has one of his characters saying “The dwarves are for the dwarves.” In other words, it matters not what the real truth is, they are going to believe what they are going to believe. Period. There is no convincing them otherwise.

To those who think that way, nothing that contradicts their way of thinking matters. And that is exactly what classifies them as cultists: “First and foremost, the belief systems of the cults are characterized by closed-mindedness. They are not interested in a rational cognitive evaluation of the facts” (Walter Martin, “The Kingdom of the Cults”).

No matter what anyone says, the proof that we are not in any kind of climate crisis is in what we see and experience. Just look outside.
