Nomination deadline nears in 'Best' poll

You only have a few days left to nominate your favorite business in the 2023 Best of Bonner County voters’ poll.

Nominations are slated to close on Thursday, June 29, and voting will take place on July 1-20.

The Best of Bonner County is a chance for the community to recognize and show support for our local businesses, Kari Packer, Hagadone News Network regional ad director, said.

“This is our opportunity to recognize our business community," she added.

Winners will be announced in late August in a special edition of the Bonner County Daily Bee.

During the nomination process, the community votes for their favorite businesses in each category. The top five nomination recipients for each category appear on the final ballot. The community now has a chance to vote for their favorites in all of the categories.

If you’d like your business to participate, go to the Daily Bee’s website and nominate your business in the appropriate category. Businesses have the opportunity to campaign and invite the community to show their support by nominating and voting for them.

The Best of Bonner County platform enables the Bonner County Daily Bee to monitor unfair voting participation. It also ensures the contest results reflect the voice of the community, she added.
