NO YULE LIGHTS

Sandpoint will have no illuminated Christmas decorations this year. The Merchants committee and the city will observe an energy-conserving brownout. The committee will save the money it might have spent and apply it later on permanent decorations. Merchants are urged individually to decorate their store fronts without the use of lighting.
