SANDPOINT — Bonner County Commissioner Asia Williams has announced February’s community chat lineup to give residents time to prepare questions for guests invited as speakers.

Williams started the chats last year to give the community a chance to learn more about how the different departments in the county are run, as well as provide an opportunity for county residents to ask questions and give feedback.

On Feb. 6, Bonner County Prosecutor Louis Marshall will join the chat to talk about the legal processes of the county. Army Corps of Engineers officials will be talking Feb. 13, followed by someone with Region 1 Behavioral Health on Feb. 20.

“Thank you to everyone that volunteers to come and bring information to the community,” Williams said on Facebook. “Thank you to everyone that shares the videos and shows up to the county building to meaningfully participate in what is happening in our community.”

Community chats take place at 8 a.m. on Tuesdays in the Bonner County Administration Building, directly before the regularly scheduled commissioners’ meeting starting at 9 a.m.
