Dover announces water pump work

DOVER — Repairs to a water pump will be taking place Monday in the city, Dover officials said.

On Monday, Feb. 19, beginning at 7 a.m., the Dover Water District will be repairing the existing water pump or replacing it. Maintenance hopes to have the work completed within the same day, Dover officials said.

Washington Street at Lakeshore Avenue will be closed with detour signs posted.

Dover officials said the work will not affect water service to anyone in the Dover water system.

In addition, Dover City Hall will be closed Monday, February 19  in observance of Presidents' Day.
