VINCENTS BUY WESTMOND STORE

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil (Mona) Vincent have bought the Westmond Store and adjoining motel units on U.S. 95 near Cocolalla from Alene Schuler. They arrived here recently from Nebraska, where before retirement he was employed by an equipment company. Mona worked for years in a small grocery business, hence the desire to try this way of life in the Sandpoint area. Their son-in-law and daughter, Don and Elaine Farrar, who formerly lived in the Denver area, now live in Sandpoint, his home town. Vincent said he hopes to get out for a little fishing this year, as it would be a shame to have come this far and then be too busy to fish in North Idaho.

Herbkersman’s wife, Mae, and three children are still in Missouri but will join him in Sandpoint as soon as Mrs. Herbkersman has sold the family home. The children are Bryan, 10th grade; Mark, ninth grade; and Kathi, sixth grade.
