(Photo by ERIC PLUMMER) Leadoff leg Julian Barajas hands the baton to Tyren Witthaus during the 4x100 relay this week at SHS. The Bulldogs will send a partial team to the Pasco Invitational today, as more than 100 high schools will be represented. Most events figure to be far tougher than what the Bulldogs will see all year, including at state. The meet, with tough qualifying standards to limit the fields, has been around since the early 1960s and has featured some incredible talent over the years. Sandpoint will send Jazmin Stockton (100/200), Ciera Bailey (400), Hannah Davidson (800), Katherine Kaul (1,600), Niah Brass (3,200) and Paige Davidson (300 hurdles) on the girls side, and T.J. Davis (110 high hurdles), Garrett Pierce (3,200) and Sam Diercks (pole vault) for the individual boys. Five Bulldog relays will also be in action, including boys and girls 4x100, boys and girls distance relay, and the girls 4x400 relay.
