Junior Brooke Stevens fired a 106 in her second straight trip to state, good enough for 19th place. Other local golfers in action included Sandpoint at-large golfers Lake Wilks, who shot an 80 in the 4A championships at Stoneridge, and teammate Nick Crowley, who shot 84 on the first day. Kody Salesky, the lone Priest River golfer, shot a 101 at the 3A tourney at Twin Lakes. Day two for the Wampus Cat, Bulldog and Spartan golfers is today.
