SANDPOINT — Local Wayne Gaston picked 11 NFL games correctly, earning him the weekly win in the Bee’s free Pro Football U-Pick’Em contest and a $25 Visa gift card.

Dan Murphy, Solar Roadway’s Scott Brusaw and former longtime Sandpoint assistant football coach Al Beard also picked 11 games correctly, but Gaston was closer on the Monday night tie-breaking score.

Derek Dickinson, who has already won two weeks and $50 in Visa gift cards, leads the overall contest with 50 points, ahead of three others with 48 and four more with 47. The overall grand prize winner receives a two-night stay, with perks, at the Kootenai River Inn and Spa.

Dave Demers and Bob Witte lead the VIP pickers with scores of 46, and are just a couple hot weeks away from challenging for the overall lead.

If you’re not already signed up and you love NFL football, what are you waiting for, as there are another 12 weeks of chances to win the weekly prize. It’s free, easy, and a fun way to enjoy the games.
