Sandpoint Legacy Wrestling Club wrestlers have found success during the club’s first winter season by earning several medals at each of their last four tournaments.

Last weekend, 18 wrestlers participated in the Kootenai Klassic tournament in Libby, Mont.

Eight of the wrestlers earned top-three finishes, including Miro Parr-Coffin, Tyler Wood and Zak Wood, who took first place; Joel Holub, Maxx Watson and Lincoln Balc, who took second; and Carter Happell and Colter Cates, who finished third in their respective weight classes.

Now that folkstyle season has concluded, the Sandpoint Legacy Wrestling Club will kick off its freestyle and Greco seasons at Spokane West Valley this Saturday, March 9.
