(Photo courtesy of CHRIS NEWHART) The 12U Sandpoint Sasquatch Youth Baseball team wrapped up the season by winning its final tournament in Montana. The team went 5-1 in tournament play, capped off by defeating the Kalispell Lakers in a 5-4, extra-inning championship game. The tournament win was a fitting send-off for manager Ron Turner and his son, first baseman Jesse Turner — both of whom will be relocating to California in the coming months. The players and coaches would like to thank all the parents and community for supporting the program. The team consisted of: Jason Ringer, Tanner Williams, Cadin Billstin, Gavin Day, Jorden Tyler, Jacob Aexel, Wyatt Burnett, Jesse Turner, Andrew Lehman, Brady Newhart, Greysen Johnson, manager Ron Turner, coach Kurt Lehman and coach Todd Newhart.
