With the donations by the Leen family and sponsors, $3,000 was raised and will help the Hook a Kid on Golf program to continue. The Leen family would like to thank The Festival at Sandpoint, Litehouse, Trinity at City Beach, Hydra Steakhouse, Second Avenue Pizza, Laughing Dog Brewery, Huckleberry Lanes and Finan McDonald for supporting the youth golf program. They would also like to thank not only the sponsors Roope’s Southeast Alaska Fly Fishing, Karen Piubeni, Mary Stevens and Dan Hull; but also organizers Dan Hull, Mary Stevens, Sonja Brisboy, Kendra Keil, Karen Piubeni, Wes Leen and Brian Porter. Lastly, they would like to give a huge thank you to Russ Brisboy for providing the lessons and helping with the event.
