Registration for Little Dribblers basketball program open now

The Little Dribblers is a clinic style basketball program designed to introduce first and second grade participants to the game of basketball, and teach the basics of the game with a heavy emphasis on dribbling and ball handling. A Sandpoint youth sport jersey is required. Jerseys can be paid for online and picked up at the Sandpoint Parks and Recreation office.

The program will be held at Kootenai Elementary School on Wednesdays, February 12, 19, 26 and March 4, 11, 18 from 2:30-4 p.m. (first graders) and 4-5:30 p.m. (second graders). Fee is $23 ($5 discount for Sandpoint residents).

Volunteer coaches are still needed. The registration deadline is next Monday, Jan. 20.

Register online at www.sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation or at the Parks and Recreation office, 1123 Lake Street. For those needing a sports jersey, the cost is $14. Jerseys can be paid for online and picked up at the Parks and Recreation office.
