RATHDRUM — A host of Sandpoint area runners won events recently at the Hershey’s State Track Meet at Lakeland High School.

Tyren Witthaus won the 100, 200 and standing long jump in the boys 13-14 year-old division, while Abigail Hendricks doubled up to win the 100 and 200 in the 11-12 year-old girls division. A host of other area athletes won events and notched top five finishes.
