Election night returns were a total failure

After last week’s election, I was very disappointed in the Bonner County clerk’s  office failure to post the results online in a clear and timely fashion. It was an absolute shipwreck.

Where a person would visit the election page looking for results, there were none. Late in the evening, some results were finally posted under a link previously used for candidate profile information. Little or no voting information was feed to other news organizations. Information was later posted in spreadsheet format on the gross vote count, not by precinct. Few people have spreadsheet software on their computers to download and decode information in that format. It should have been posted in HTML browser format so everyone could view it. Lets get this fixed before the next election, timely posting results by precinct as they come in, in a logical, clear HTML format.
