Is NRA buying our legislators' support?

Regarding article “Gun alliance: State legislation has NRA’s backing.” (Jan 14, Daily Bee). I can’t tell you how relieved I was to hear that our legislators have NRA backing. We wouldn’t want them bought out of office, now would we?
