MOSCOW — Cooper Larson finished a home run short of the cycle and Moscow took care of business against Sandpoint, cruising to a 12-1 mercy-rule win in five innings in Thursday’s loser-out game of the 4A Region 1 tournament at Bear Field.

Larson, a freshman hitting out of the No. 5 spot for the Bears, went 3 for 3 with five RBIs, a stolen base and two runs scored, as the Bears (8-13) scored five runs in the first and third innings to take a commanding lead.
