Thompsons celebrate 70th anniversary

Milton Thompson Jr. and Arlene Mansfield-Thompson of Hope celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 29, 2016.

The retired building contractor and nurse, respectively, celebrated their anniversary with a dinner and cake this past summer with family and friends in Hope.

Among those celebrating were their children, Craig and Gail Thompson of Camano Island, Wash.; Brian and Zanthia Timblin of Hope, Dale and Vicki Jeffres of Hope, Chuck and Tia Warrer of Hope, and Jeff and Kris Thompson of Kelso, Wash. The couple has 35 grandchildren (and spouses), and 24 great-grandchildren.
